Situated in the mountains of central Washington state and surrounded by over 100,000-acres of pristine wildlife area, The Ranch is a 40-Acre counterterrorism training facility that is designed to meet the needs of the Special Operations community, Department of State and OGAs, Law Enforcement, various civilian Special Purpose Units, and law-abiding citizens. The complex is purpose-built to be a one-stop solution for multi-discipline, multi-echelon training to include Weapons & Tactics, Operational Medicine, On/ Off-Road Driving, Tactical Canine Operations, and is equipped to conduct Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) operations including tagging, tracking, and location operations. The Ranch makes an ideal training location for PSD / Close Protection exercises, Tactical Drone Operations, Land Navigation, and Wilderness Survival as well.
Our instructors are thoroughly vetted, highly experienced veterans and respected professionals. By recruiting and selecting the best instructors, Burns Group International Counterterrorism Training Center is able to ensure we provide a safe, fun, and valuable learning experience for our students and exceed our client’s expectations. All of our classes have a low student-to-instructor ratio and we have the ability to tailor our curriculum to meet our clients’ specific needs and requirements and provide custom services that include complete exercise design and planning, training and certification, as well as E-learning course development. In addition, The Ranch is just 30 minutes from a regional airport and can provide discrete and secure training support services such as on-site food, transportation, and a variety of commercial accommodations.

STATE OF THE ART KENNELS AND CANINE TRAINING FACILITY.
The Ranch’s kennel facility features secure access, climate-controlled indoor kennels with attached outdoor runs, a food prep area, a grooming area, and 24-hour video and temperature monitoring. We have areas for general canine training, an obstacle course, and a complete detection area, and our on-site firearms ranges allow us to conduct gunfire and firework desensitization work for civilian clients. Our training area encompasses several thousand acres of fields, woodlands, ponds, rivers, and lakes, along with access to commercial and industrial buildings. In 2021, we will be adding a second kennel building which will include a state-of-the-art whelping room and 20’x40’ puppy development pen with an agility and dexterity obstacle course.
