Burns Group International Counterterrorism Training Center’s world-class firearms instructors are professional shooters and instructors with decades of experience working in law enforcement, high-threat global protective services, and covert operations.  They create a safe and comfortable learning environment that make our classes fun, exciting, and educational.  Our 1-day Concealed Carry course has been designed to provide valuable information to a broad range of students, from those who have never touched a gun to experienced shooters, students are sure to enjoy this fun and engaging course.  The course is divided between classroom instruction and hands-on instruction on our training range which allows students to get quality instruction on the use of their firearm, individualized feedback, and a thorough understanding of proper fundamentals, so they leave with a solid base of knowledge to be able to build quality firearms skills via their own training.  *Private classes are available upon request.*

Our concealed carry course meets and exceeds the education requirements for students who are Washington residents to obtain their Washington concealed pistol license (CPL), as well as their permits from Oregon, Utah, and Arizona as a non-resident.  You do NOT have to reside in or visit the state of UT or AZ to apply for their permit, it can be applied for by mail.

**NO FIREARMS OR LIVE AMMUNITION ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM!**

Prerequisites:

CONCEALED WEAPONS PERMIT or LAW ENFORCEMENT CRIMINAL HISTORY REPORT MUST BE PRESENTED AT CLASS. If you do not have a concealed weapons permit, you may use a criminal history report from the WSP background check service located at http://www.wsp.wa.gov/crime/criminal-history/. Students must be totally familiar and comfortable with their handgun. If you have never shot before or wonder how your gun works, we recommend our Basic Handgun Safety or Concealed Carry courses. The firearms training will be conducted on an outdoor range and while we get over 300 days of sunshine here at the ranch, be prepared for inclement weather including heat, wind, rain, or snow. Students should be physically fit enough to walk a short uphill trail to the training range.

Required Equipment:

Reliable, functional semi-automatic handgun; belt holster (rigid, no Serpa holsters allowed) with sturdy belt, pants with belt loops, 300 rounds of brass cased, FMJ ammunition (minimum), minimum of 2 magazines and a magazine carrier, Hearing and eye protection, concealment garment. For your convenience, students from out of area may purchase their ammunition from Mill Pond Arms and Burns Group staff can pick it up and having it waiting at the range for you.
